海に漂うプラスチックゴミを回収し板材となった素材の可能性を探り、海洋ゴミという問題そのものに目を向けてもらうため、海辺に小さな日除けの構造を設えた。三角形のかたちは、浜辺を歩くやどかりの殻を思わせ、人が足をとめ、ひとときの休息を得る仮の居場所となる。廃材でありながら、ひかりを受けてかすかに輝く表面は、風景に溶け込みながら、静かに問いを投げかける存在となることを願っている。
Plastic waste drifting in the sea was collected and compressed into boards, then explored for its potential as material. To draw attention to the very issue of marine debris, a small sunshade structure was placed by the shore. Its triangular form recalls the shell of a hermit crab on the beach, becoming a temporary refuge where one may pause and rest. Though born from discarded matter, its surface catches the light with a faint shimmer, blending into the landscape while quietly posing a question.
