石と広葉樹のそれぞれの端材を、整えず揃えず、それぞれのかたちのまま交差させ、棚をつくる。石は自然のままに、木も接合部をわずかに加工するだけ。均一さを求めるのではなく、異なる輪郭同士の重なりから、新たなかたちを生み出す。接着せず即興的に組み上げられる構成。触れあい、支えあいながら、断片たちはかたちを結んでいく。
Fragments of stone and hardwood offcuts are assembled without alignment or uniform shaping, intersecting in their original forms to create shelving. The stones remain natural, while the wood is only minimally processed at the joints. Rather than seeking uniformity, new forms arise from the overlapping of differing contours. The structure is built improvisationally without adhesives, as the fragments touch, support, and ultimately bind together into shape.
