栗の木を使ったハイバックチェアである。栗材は虫に食べられやすく、それが原因で未利用になっている材がある。それらをスキャンし、虫に食べられたり、節・欠けが生じているところを手がかりに、ボクセル状に削りとることで、広葉樹の持つ曲線（自然）とデジタル（人工）を掛け合わせた形を生み出した。
A high-back chair made of chestnut hardwood. Chestnut is prone to insect damage, leaving portions of the material unused. By scanning these pieces, the traces of insect-eaten areas, knots, and missing fragments became clues. They were carved away in a voxel-like manner, generating a form that intertwines the curves of hardwood’s natural presence with the precision of the digital.
