パリのセーヌ川沿いに、新たな公共空間を立ち上げる試みである。ここでは、川に浮かぶラグジュアリーホテルで過ごす人々と、住まいを持たずテントで暮らす人々が、隣り合わせに日常を営んでいた。資本主義がもたらしたこうした風景に対し、ささやかで静かな抵抗として、売買ではなく人から人へと受け渡していく仕組みを考えた。誰かが持ち寄ったものが次の人へと渡り、さらに別の手へと引き継がれていく。空間もまた、自らの手で組み立てていく。音楽やアートなどの小さな活動がそれぞれのタイミングで重なり、通りすがる人々の間にひとときの共有の場が立ち上がっていく。
This project seeks to establish a new public space along the Seine in Paris. Here, people spending their days in luxury hotels floating on the river and those living in tents without permanent homes shared the same everyday surroundings. In response to this landscape shaped by capitalism, we conceived a quiet, modest form of resistance: a system of passing things from hand to hand, without buying or selling. What someone brings is handed to the next person, and then passed on again to another. The space itself is also assembled by the participants’ own hands. Small activities such as music and art overlap at different moments, giving rise to fleeting occasions of sharing among those who pass by.
